A Tapestry of Empowerment: The Jane Club's Event at the Essence Festival

The New Orleans Essence Festival was brightened by The Jane Club event, a sanctuary for working mothers from LA. Co-founder Jess Zaino infused the gathering with a touch of California's warmth, enhancing the city's vibrancy. This gathering was more than an event; it was a movement, celebrating the multifaceted roles of women in an environment that felt like home.

Attendees were treated to a variety of soul-enriching activities. Mentorship sessions offered wisdom, while Planned Parenthood sparked critical conversations. Children enjoyed creative activities orchestrated by Chudney Ross. The portrait experience, styled by Julia Wilson and captured through Deun Ivory's lens, allowed women to see and celebrate their own beauty. The Artleadher exhibit showcased inspiring works by women artists.

The event was further elevated by the presence of celebrated personalities. Chudney Ross, Estelle, Tai Beauchamp, Dezi Santiago, and Mashonda Tifrere each brought their unique spirit, adding to the day's inspiration and empowerment. My role as the event photographer allowed me to capture these moments, creating a visual narrative of the day's magic.

The Clarkes Wedding Vow renewal 😍💍

Congratulations Omari & Nicole! I had so much fun with this beautiful couple! They flew out from New York alongside with a few close family & friends to renew their wedding vows and celebrate 5 years of marriage in New Orleans! After their beautiful ceremony, followed a  Secondline where Omari and Nicole danced, sing and celebrate in the middle of the street while strangers joined them all in New Orleans tradition! Shout out to all of the awesome vendors who put their magic touch to this couple’s very special day! Bubbly Brunch style shoot! 🍋🍾

We had so much fun photographing this style shoot with Event planner/Designer Bsherrie Nola Events! The theme was Bubbly Brunch with a lemonade twist. Who doesn't like a nice outdoor brunch? lol We were also excited to collaborate with a few other vendors in the area! The fun part was that the model Essence was really celebrating her birthday and invited her closest friends to celebrate with her! 💙 Corelle's Prom Send Off! 💙

Prom is one of the most special days in a young soon to be adults life and Corelle a graduating 2018 senior looked absolutely gorgeous on hers!  It was a beautiful evening and we were happy to document Corelle's day! First we started off by photographing the preparation at her hotel and were able to capture the excitement from her family/ friends too. The session ended with a beautiful sunset for Corelle and her date as they posed before leaving for prom. Check out Corelle's prom photos below! :)

Girls Trip!💃🏾

We had so much fun with these beautiful ladies ! They are all friends who moved to different states but came together on a trip to New Orleans for the celebration of their friend Tori (The young lady in the middle with orange dress) who is getting married!
